The Menzies Centre for Health Governance at the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) is seeking two dynamic and energetic Research Fellows to join the new ARC Laureate Fellowship team and contribute to the world class research initiative: The Planetary Health Equity Hothouse.

View the ARC Laureate Planetary Health Equity Hothouse video.

The ARC Laureate Fellowship will integrate health, social equity and climate change agendas through the lens of planetary health equity; examine the political economy of the global consumptogenic system, study the interests, ideas, and institutions involved in governing planetary health equity, and identify innovative governance approaches to enable the development of intersectoral policy and business practices that advance planetary health equity. Ultimately, the Laureate aims to understand how to address the political, commercial and social determinants of planetary health equity.

  • The first of the two Research Fellows will drive the work stream on policy processes, identifying ways to embed Planetary Health Equity in All Policies, including in food, energy, housing, and employment sectors.

  • The second Research Fellow will drive the commercial determinants of planetary health equity work stream. The focus is on understanding how to improve business models and practices across sectors, including food, energy, employment and housing, to achieve planetary health equity.

The Candidate will work closely with the ARC Laureate Fellow, Professor Sharon Friel, work as part of the Hothouse team, and alongside other Menzies Centre, RegNet and ANU colleagues.
