Mutiara Indriani_RegNet

Mutiara is an Australia Awards PhD scholar and a Research Officer at the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet), Australian National University (ANU), where she applies an interdisciplinary approach to investigating health security and access to vaccines in the global south.

Prior to ANU, Mutiara was a lecturer at Binus University and a researcher at Quit Tobacco Indonesia and Global Action Plan International. Her work in the region started at the ASEAN Secretariat, with a focus on poverty issues, rural development, social welfare, women’s and children's protection, and ASEAN dialogue partnerships.

Mutiara holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Leiden University with the Studeren in Nederland (StuNed) Scholarship and a Bachelor of Social Sciences majored in Health, Environment, and Life Science from the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University with the Ritsumeikan APU Scholarship and Honours Scholarship. Mutiara speaks English, Italian, Japanese, and Bahasa Indonesia.
