Lucy is a PhD candidate at RegNet looking into regulation and trust. Lucy’s research interest is in the impact of declining societal trust on regulators and their ability to regulate effectively. Lucy has over 17 years’ experience in the public service in Victoria, working in regulation, governance and strategy in a range of policy areas. She was most recently the Director of Regulatory Services at the Victorian Electoral Commission, and has held other executive roles in Recycling Victoria and in the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.
