Kate Starre_RegNet

Kate Starre is a research officer within the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) working on an Australia Research Council-funded project, Governing Gender Inclusion in Australian Sport, with Professor Kate Henne.

Prior to joining RegNet, Kate worked in high performance sport as the High Performance Manager for the Fremantle Dockers AFLW team and with Hockeyroos. She has coached in both the UK and the USA as a hockey coach and strength and conditioning specialist.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Theology from Notre Dame University and Masters in Strength and Conditioning from Edith Cowan University.

During her athletic career, Kate participated in three Olympic Games, winning gold medals at the Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
