Victor Ferguson_RegNet

Victor Ferguson is a PhD Candidate in the ANU School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) and a member of the ANU Working Group on Geoeconomics. His doctoral research examines the relationship between law and economic power in world politics, with a particular focus on how legal rules and regimes may variously constrain and enable the use of economic statecraft.

Victor has worked as a researcher at SPIR, RegNet, and the Australian Institute of International Affairs. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in international relations and political science across the ANU, and has presented research to a variety of government and academic audiences in Australia and abroad.

Victor received his Bachelor of Laws (Hons 1) and Bachelor of International Relations (Hons 1; valedictorian) from the ANU.
