The Migration Hub at RegNet is seeking a Senior Project Officer to help drive the establishment of the Hub. The Senior Project Officer (Migration Hub) will provide comprehensive project management support on a diverse range of administrative, engagement and research activities. They will work closely with Migration Hub Director Professor Alan Gamlen, and work as part of the Hub team.

This role will see the candidate work across many areas of responsibility, including research support, grant development and grant management, knowledge mobilisation, events management, and general administrative support.

Our Ideal Candidate
As our ideal candidate, you will have qualifications and experience in Office Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Project Management Support, ideally within a University context. In particular you will have strong experience in applying for, managing, and reporting on externally funded grant contracts. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including outstanding writing skills and an ability to consult and liaise effectively with a wide range of people in a culturally diverse environment. You will be an exceptionally organised person who pays high attention to detail, and is adept at record-keeping and navigating university systems and processes. You will have the ability to prioritise your own workload and to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, in both leadership and support roles. You will be focused on results and solutions and will excel at managing competing deadlines in delivering high-quality outcomes. You will have a high level of digital literacy with office tools for a university context.
