As the cost of living rises, doctors and public health experts are worried society’s poorest are turning toward less healthy food.

Sharon Friel has spoken to ABC Radio’s The World Today about the rising cost of healthy food which is heavily affected by shocks in supply chain, like fuel and fertiliser costs or natural disasters.

But she says there are solutions. Lifting wages for society’s poorest to keep pace with the cost of healthy food would be a good start.
