Honorary Professor Martin Krygier appointed Member of the Order of Australia (AM)

RegNet is delighted to announce Honorary Professor Martin Evald Krygier, has been recognised for his contributions in the 2020 Australia Day Honours.

Professor Krygier was appointed Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia for his significant service to legal education and professional associations during a highly successfully career spanning more than 40 years.

The leading theorist on the rule of law, is the author of numerous journal articles, books and book chapters and writes extensively on political and legal theory as well as on central and eastern European politics and law.

Prior to this distinction, in November 2019 the Hague Journal of the Rule of Law, dedicated a special issue in Martin’s honour acknowledging his work on the rule of law.
