Miss Giorgia Dalla Libera Marchiori
Giorgia (Gio) Dalla Libera M. (she/her) is a scientist activist who believes disruptive peaceful action is needed to transform the current extractive, exploitative and violent colonial system we currently live in. Gio holds a master degree in Biomedicine from Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) and a second master in Sustainable Management from Uppsala University (Sweden). Previously, she worked in infectious diseases research and the NGO sector focusing on global health, social and environmental sustainability, and EU regulations.
She is currently a Laureate PhD Candidate at the Planetary Health Equity Hothouse at the Australian National University, investigating the role of private philanthropy in knowledge generation and its implications for the achievement of planetary health equity.
