Esther McVicar
Esther is a current Higher Degree Researcher at the School of Regulation and Global Governance exploring the use of AI in the Public Sector. Esther is a guest researcher with the Norwegian Research Centre for Computers and Law.
Prior to engaging in academia, Esther was an Executive Director and Chief Risk Officer in the Australian Public Service working in strategy, governance, risk and organisational systems. Her career has traversed both the private and public sectors where she has worked closely with humanising automation, creating hybridised working strategies that minimise negative social impacts.
