Weijia (Vikki) has been a visitor at RegNet since September 2016. She is primarily interested in researching Investor State Dispute Settlements, especially in the recent FTAs and BITs. Prior to joining RegNet, she participated in several research projects in China. As a research assistant to Ying Liu, a professor at Wuhan University Institute of International Law, she completed the reports China Free Trade Agreements and Outward-looking Economic Development of Hubei Province and ‘One Belt and One Road’ Construction and Research on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau ‘Going Out’ Strategy. She was also an intern at Metlife insurance company as a legal counselor.
