Shinal joins the team at RegNet as Senior Project Officer for the Migration Hub, working with Professor Alan Gamlen.

Prior to joining RegNet, Shinal has held senior positions within the Fijian Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport. In these roles, Shinal championed initiatives aimed at fostering a conducive environment for trade and investment, spearheading impactful reforms, and driving the digital transformation of government processes related to doing business in Fiji.

Shinal holds a Master of Commerce (Economics) and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of the South Pacific.
