The Australian National University is seeking an internationally renowned scholar and accomplished academic leader to lead the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet), a world-class academic centre renowned for its pioneering research and education on regulation and governance.
Reporting to the Dean of the College of Law, Governance and Policy (CLGP), the Director will be responsible for the overall operational management, research and educational leadership of the School, consistent with the strategic plan of the School, College and ANU. This will include leading national and international research collaborations, regulation and policy outreach and partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate highly developed communication and negotiation skills, complemented by the ability to engage effectively across the School, College and University to promote the School’s integrated and interdisciplinary approach to research, teaching and outreach. They will combine excellent people management capability with sound financial planning skills and bring a proven ability to build strong relationships while fostering a positive, collaborative culture
