Benjamin Herscovitch quoted in Al Jazeera on US-China relationship

Research Fellow Benjamin Herscovitch was quoted on Al Jazeera on US-China relationship following President Joe Biden and President Xi Jinping’s first direct communication since February this year.
Dr Herscovitch said the call is a “positive step” ahead of several significant multilateral meetings.
“Even though it’s a good sign, the reality is that the US-China relationship may remain deeply, deeply adversarial across a whole host of fronts,” he said.
