Call for Expressions of Interest

We invite colleagues working on human rights in any discipline to submit expressions of interest to present at the 7thAnnual Human Rights Tertiary Teachers’ Workshop.

We are keen to receive proposals that focus not only on the substance of what we teach, but especially on how we go about teaching human rights, with an emphasis on new and innovative ways of addressing new (and old) issues.
The organising committee would particularly welcome expressions of interest on the following themes:

  • Teaching topics such as the history of human rights; international institutions, climate change and human rights and business and human rights

  • Innovative approaches to teaching human rights such as the use of social media, experiential learning, simulations, flipped classrooms and assessment regimes.

Please send your expression of interest to joanna.kyriakakis@monash.edu by Monday 12 December 2016.
