New post-doctoral fellow on social determinants of health equity

A post-doctoral fellow position in the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence on the Social Determinants of Health Equity is now open to applications.

The NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence on the Social Determinants of Health Equity is a large multi-institutional, interdisciplinary research program that aims to provide evidence on how to navigate the policy processes more effectively in order to operationalise action on the social determinants of health and health equity. There are four work programs - agenda setting; policy coherence; implementation and evaluation, with a focus on key thematic policy areas including macroeconomics and infrastructure, land use and urban environments, health systems and Aboriginal affairs.

The Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Fellow is a fulltime 3 year fixed term appointment and will undertake nationally acclaimed research through the CRE in the field of public health and policy outcomes evaluation. The Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Fellow will also perform a key role in education programs within RegNet, and engage in the intellectual life of RegNet, CAP and the wider University community.
