Dr Tate Morgan

Tate Morgan is a postdoctoral fellow at Queen Mary University of London. Previously, he was a research officer within the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) working on an Australia Research Council-funded project, Governing Gender Inclusion in Australian Sport, with Professor Kate Henne.

Tate’s research operates at the intersections of gender and trans studies, science and technology studies, and governance and regulation. He also has experience working in the NGO sector and in government, including as Assistant Director in the ACT Government Office of LGBTIQA+ Affairs. He has contributed to numerous legislative and regulatory reforms, including on gender recognition, intersex healthcare, and human rights provisions.
