Episode 31 of the Saving the World webinar series features Dr Anja Bless discussing her research on corporate co-optation of the regenerative agriculture movement.

Regenerative agriculture has emerged as a potentially transformative approach to farming that works with nature, rather than against it. However, just as quickly as regenerative agriculture rose to prominence, multi-national agri-food companies were jumping on the bandwagon. In this presentation, Dr Anja Bless (UTS) presents her research on the regenerative agriculture movement, how it emerged and whether this corporate involvement is inhibiting regenerative agriculture’s transformative potential.

The ‘Saving the World’ webinar series, presented by the Planetary Health Equity Hothouse, releases a new episode each month, discussing the intersections between climate change, inequity and human health. The webinars focus on actions that enable transformative change away from the harmful consumptogenic system to systems that promote good health, social equity and environmental wellbeing.
