This doctoral study explores how regulations turns into practice across the life trajectory of plastic. To do so, it employs an ethnographic observation of actors across three stages: production, consumption, and waste management. Drawing on policy translation scholarship, it argues that diverse network of actors shapes everyday governance outcomes, constantly negotiating regulations in their day-to-day governance practices.

About the speaker

Sherajul Mustajib Sharif is a PhD scholar at RegNet. His research focuses on environmental governance through multidisciplinary lenses, such as, environmental crime, regulation, law, policy, politics and so forth.
