As part of a research school at the ANU, RegNet Program’s primary formal teaching component is through its graduate PhD program. RegNet has a dynamic group of PhD students, currently in excess of 35, with a scholarly focus on a wide range of areas including innovation, competition and governance, criminal and restorative justice, international law, peace-keeping and peace-building, public security and community policing, and human capacity building and governance. Doctoral students are considered an integral part of the RegNet Program’s vibrant intellectual community and are valued for the important contribution they make to the dynamic two way process that is learning and teaching. RegNet prides itself on having PhD scholars who engage in an interdisciplinary environment that is often demanding in its breadth, and values the many ways in which this engagement sparks learning and ideas in others at all levels.
