Background

Kylie holds a B.A (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Sydney. Her honours research investigated how and why corporations have the potential to damage the very communities they seek to alleviate through community based initiatives. Kylie's PhD aims to build on this research through a larger comparative study of Corporate Social Responsibility in relation to armed conflicts and peacebuilding. She has taught Social Theory at the University of Technology, Sydney and has worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Cultural Research at the University of Western Sydney and in the Faculty of Education at the University of Sydney. Before embarking on university studies Kylie was a youth worker.
