What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format, defined in the 1.0 version of XML, for sharing and distributing Web content, such as RegNet Current Events headlines. Using an RSS reader, you can view the RSS feed or data feed from the RegNet Website without the need to visit the site.

 

How to access RSS feed?

RSS Aggregators/Readers will be needed to download and display RSS feeds, there are several types of RSS Aggregators/Readers.

Client-side readers and aggregators that are constructed as standalone programs or extensions to existing programs such as web browsers (eg. Mozilla Firefox) and Email readers (eg. Mozilla Thunderbird).

Standalone/Extension Applications

Web-based feed readers and news aggregators such as YourLiveWire, which require no software installation and make the user's "feeds" available on any computer with Web access.

Where is the RSS feed on RegNet website?

The links on the feed icon Get XML RSS feed on the top of the web page or the feed icon Get XML RSS feed within the address bar, in the RegNet Current Events or RegNet News web page.

 

How to subscribe to RegNet RSS feed?

You can subscribe to RegNet RSS feed in a number of ways, including the following:

- Click on the RSS button (if you are using a web based feed Reader/Aggregator)

- Drag the orange RSS button into your feed Reader/Aggregator

- Cut and paste the URL of the RSS feed into your feed Reader/Aggregator
