Dr Rebecca Dodd is a part-time, senior research fellow in Health Systems Science at The George Institute for Global Health. Her current research interests include: health systems and policy development in low-and middle-income countries in the Asia Pacific; food policy; and measuring research impact. She also works at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), as Director in the Health Policy Branch.
Before joining DFAT in 2013, Rebecca worked for 10 years on health policy and health systems issues at the WHO, in Geneva, Manila and Vietnam. At WHO, Rebecca took the lead role in establishing the Asia Pacific Observatory on Health Systems and Policies Research, a partnership of international development agencies, academics and health policy makers. Rebecca completed her PhD in 2010 at the School of Population Health, University of Queensland.
