Dr Gordon Peake is a Visitor at RegNet for 2020-2021.
For the last fifteen years, Gordon has been engaging with issues of governance and post-conflict settlement in the Asia-Pacific region. He has lived and worked in Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea.
Gordon has published widely on a range of topics including international policy transfer, complexity theory and the operationalisation of rule of law and security sector reform.
His first book Beloved Land: Stories, Struggles & Secrets from Timor-Leste (2013) was winner of the 2014 ACT Book of the Year & People’s Choice Awards.
Gordon is a graduate of Queen’s University of Belfast, and received his M.Phil and D.Phil from the University of Oxford.
