Harrison Rule is undertaking degrees in Asian Studies and International Security studies at the Australian National University. As research assistant intern at the ANU Cybercrime Observatory, he assists Donald Maxim and Roderic Broadhurst on projects relating to Cyber Security and Cyber Terrorism.

Combining his interest in Asian studies and academic blogging, Harrison is also the Editor-In-Chief of The Monsoon Project. Run out of ANU’s College of Asia and the Pacific. The Monsoon Project aims to collate the ideas, opinions and stories of young scholars from across the region on the issues and challenges facing the Asia-Pacific.

Research Interests

Cyber Security; Cyber Terrorism in East Asia; Cross-Strait relations; Northeast Asian Politics; Chinese Foreign Policy; China-South Korea relations.
