Harshit is a research assistant and the laboratory coordinator at the ANU Cybercrime Observatory, working under the supervision of Professor Roderic Broadhurst. He is currently assisting Roderic in several studies including cross-market analysis of drugs and other illicit products sold on the darknet, and assessing the future of AI for criminology. In the past, he has also co-authored the reports on Spam Email: Assessing trends and risks in the Australian Spam Intelligence Data, and Malware trends on darknet crypto-markets: Research Review.
Harshit is a recent graduate of Master of Computing (specializing in Information and Human Centred Computing) from the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS), ANU. Besides Cybercrime, he also has interests in the field of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Data Science.
