New changes to US communications law

Internet protocol (IP) technology and initiatives to ensure the universal deployment and take-up of broadband services are having a profound effect on the framework for telecommunications regulation in the United States.

RegNet Departmental Visitor Ms Karen Lee and Mr Jamison Prime of the Federal Communications Commission examine these changes in a new edition of Telecommunications Law and Regulation.

The book, now in its fourth edition, is edited by Dr Ian Walden, Professor of Information and Communications Law and Head of the Institute of Computer and Communications Law in the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary, University of London. It is one of the United Kingdom's leading texts in the field.

Telecommunications Law and Regulation 4th edition, is available through Oxford University Press.
