As part of the ANU Federal Election Conversation Series, RegNet’s Rod Broadhurst discusses the wide range of cyber security and emerging threats we face today with Lesley Seebeck, CEO of the ANU’s Cyber Institute.

“What we don’t get is that variety of criminal conduct or disruption that we’re dealing with under the basket of cyber security.

“It can be state actors trying to undermine for example, nuclear facilities…right down to social media bullying, self harm and the sorts of things that take place on social media. It might be scams, it might be all kinds of misuses…and the abuse of the internet and I’m thinking too, of things like child exploitation materials and so on. So that variety is a challenge too.”
