In this ABC Radio National interview Clarke Jones responds to recent claims by the US President Trump that terrorist attacks are ‘under reported’.

‘Over reporting and what the White House is trying to do …contributes to the problem. I think we need to put terrorism in perspective. People are more likely to be involved in a car accident or domestic violence,’ he says in the interview.

‘The media has a lot to answer for in the way things are reported..We give Daesh or the Islamic State credibility by actually trying to link these kids, who just claim an association, when there is no solid link’.
