An initiative under the Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy, these seminars feature business leaders, academics and work health and safety experts sharing ideas, experiences, skills and knowledge to improve the lives of Australian workers.

At 11am on Tuesday 20 October, RegNet Research Fellow Liz Bluff will take part in a seminar on the design of safe machinery.

With Peter Dunphy from WorkCover NSW and an Australian manufacturer/designer, Liz will discuss how good machinery design achieves greater productivity and improves work health safety outcomes.

Broadcast live from the Safe Work Australia website, the panellists will discuss the importance of eliminating hazards and risks before the machinery enters the workplace.
