John Braithwaite, ACT Attorney General Simon Corbell and Professor Jennifer Llewllyn were key speakers at a conference held last week in Canberra which looked at what Canberra would be like as a restorative city. With over 10 years of success in the ACT’s Restorative Justice Unit, the conference considered what Canberra would look like if restorative practices were extended to other contexts including schools, workplace culture and the sports field.

Ross Peake of the Canberra Times wrote a feature on the conference and the message its keynote speaker, Jennifer Llewllyn, had for a packed reception room at the ACT Legislative Assembly.
