Clarke Jones on the Sharrouf security blunder

17th June 2015

In this Lateline interview, Clarke Jones discusses recent revelations that terror suspect, Khaled Sharrouf was able to fake his way through Sydney airport in less than two minutes.

“There’s really no excuses about the mistakes that were made in this case. Certainly [there was] a lack of co-operation between the agencies…certainly you would think that his last name, Sharrouf, would have caused alarm bells or at least caused greater scrutiny about going through that Customs barrier”, Dr Jones said.
