Dr Chantal Blouin is an international expert on health governance, especially for NCDs, and was a panel member of the Lancet – University of Oslo Commission on Global Governance for Health.

Her presentation will focus on recent published work on how public health authorities reconcile their regulatory and catalyst roles in creating healthier food environments.

About the speaker

Dr Chantal Blouin is a researcher at the National Public Health Institute of Quebec (INSPQ) in Canada, and focuses on public policies that can be adopted at all levels of governments (local, provincial, federal) to create healthy food environments.
