The Health, Equity and Governance group (HEGG) is new to RegNet and we would like to invite you to an informal introductory seminar which will provide research snapshots of our work.
HEGG currently comprises researchers with training in public health, epidemiology, political science, human geography, urban studies, and business studies. The aim of this seminar is to introduce all members of the group (both those based at RegNet and those based in the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health), and to hear about the research projects which will be based at RegNet.
Short presentations will be given by RegNet based researchers including:
- Sarah James “Shrinking the food-print by creating consumer demand for sustainable and healthy eating”
- Sunil Ponnamperuma “Trade agreements, nutrition and health”Phil Baker “Big Food in Asia”
- Charmian Bennett “Landscape Typologies”
A portfolio with research and profiles of HEGG researchers (both those based at RegNet and those based at NCEPH) is also available.
