Well-shot images provide a window into your research, drawing in audiences from both academia and beyond. Developing your own ‘image bank’ assists in documenting your research, but also gives you a warehouse of images to draw on when you or we are promoting your research. This session, facilitated by James Walsh, CAP Communications & Marketing, will look to equip you with the tools for taking a great photo on smartphones, tablets and other devices. We will also look at the ethics of photography in the field, the quality of images required for publication, and finally, have a go at taking some images ourselves. This is a Regulatory Institutions Network (RegNet) Higher Degree Research (HDR) Education Activity. This activitiy is aimed at HDR students, but is open to CAP staff and students wanting to develop or further their skills base.RSVP Required by 15 May: email Jill Mowbray-Tsutsumi at more information about RegNet HDR Education Activities, please contact Head of Postgraduate Programs, Dr Kathryn Henne.
