The Regulatory Institutions Network (RegNet) is recognised as one of the world’s most vibrant governance and regulatory academic centres, combining rigorous interdisciplinary research with effective knowledge translation locally, nationally and globally. RegNet’s work is built on principles of justice, sustainability and human well-being. We are a dynamic community of mix-methods scholars from different disciplines united by our interest in governance and regulation.

Currently we work in policy-relevant areas such as Intellectual Property and Knowledge Governance; International Law and Human Rights; Natural and Human Environments; Restorative Justice; Rule of Law; and Society and Human Health.

Professor Sharon Friel joined RegNet as Professor of Health Equity in May 2014 and became Director in July 2014.
