About RegNet

Mission statement

Research at the highest international standards on regulation that also makes local contributions to good governance.

Our values

RegNet members undertake regulatory research that promotes social justice, fairness, human rights and freedoms, and ecologically sustainable development. We aim to build intellectual communities that are plural, gregarious and that foster pro bono service to further these values.

  • climate change
  • child protection
  • cyber crime
  • development

  • environmental governance
  • health
  • human rights
  • human security
  • illicit organisations and markets
  • intellectual property and the governance of knowledge
  • international law
  • micro foundations of democratic governance
  • occupational health and safety
  • peace building
  • policing
  • restorative justice
  • rule of law
  • taxation

Centres, programs and projects

Much of RegNet's research activity and output is organised around issues-based projects, centres and groups.
